We will be hosting the 2017 SEA Games which is slated to kick off this 19 August and will run until 30 August.
Many sporting fans are looking forward to catch their favourite athletes competing live at various venues around the Klang Valley.
Well good news for you, as tickets are already on sale as of Wednesday, starting as low as RM10! Other tickets are priced at RM15 and RM20.
Tickets are required for entry to 19 sporting events including the opening and closing ceremonies which will take place at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil.
Among the games that requires a ticket for entry are aquatics, (diving, swimming, synchronised swimming and water polo), badminton, gymnastics, karate, taekwondo, pencak silat, futsal, netball, rugby, track cycling, basketball, sepak takraw, billiard and snooker, muay Thai, and football.
Fans can gain free entry to games that aren’t listed above as well as the Paralympic games events.
Youth and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin told The Malay Mail Online during a press conference that the tickets were sold to control the crowd due to the limited space capacity at the venue.
A sale restriction will also be imposed to curb ticketing touts and scammers. Each person is limited to a maximum amount of four tickets for each purchase for online and offline transactions.
So far, tickets to the netball games have all sold out. Didn’t know that we had so many netball fans, huh?
